Chris Hughes was born and raised in Nacogdoches, Texas and graduated from Nacogdoches High School. Chris Hughes has long family ties to Nacogdoches and East Texas and loves practicing law in the area he calls home.
Chris Hughes married Raechell Bruner in 2013 after they met in her hometown of Crockett, Texas. They have a daughter, Vivian, who is the absolute light of their lives. Chris enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, raising cows, Aggie football, and golf in his spare time.
Chris is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Texas Young Lawyers Association, American Bar Association: Litigation Division, Nacogdoches County Bar Association, Nacogdoches Rotary Club, and First Baptist Church of Nacogdoches.
LEGAL BACKGROUND
Chris Hughes received a B.S. in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University in 2007 and a J.D. from St. Mary's University School of Law in 2010. During law school, he clerked with the Honorable United States District Judge Xavier Rodriguez in San Antonio, Texas. While in law school, Chris was a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Fraternity and St. Mary's Law Journal. Chris moved back home to Nacogdoches in 2010 where he joined Fairchild, Price, Haley, and Smith before opening his private practice in 2015.
Chris has experience in handling highly complex personal injury and product liability matters. He is experienced in commercial trucking accidents as well as oil field injury accidents. Chris has the experience and capability necessary to investigate and litigate your personal injury claims.
